First Blog entry

Thanks to everyone who has suggested I start a blog.  The day has come.  I’m very new at this so it may take me a while to figure it all out.  My intention for the blog is to keep anyone interested informed about what I’ve done and what I’m planning to do with my photography.  Once in a while I’ll add something about my other business venture which is Cypress Creek Inn Restaurant.  Yes, I’m a busy guy.  The blog will be informal (can you tell?).

Well, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends.   I would like my first post to be about this past weekend.  Comfort had its annual Christmas in Comfort Celebration this past Saturday and as always, the streets were packed with tourists from all over Texas.  I was asked to be the photographer while kids visited with Santa and I have to say that I had a blast!  Ken Lane from Kenny D. Photography came up to help as did Jerry Stock, my good friend and go-to-guy for anything computer related.  I am very lucky in that I have great friends.  I’d like to share a few photos from Saturday.
